We attended a failed water bore in Balcatta. The customer had been told that that their old bore could not be fixed.

The customer had a one liner bore in Balcatta at the rear of the property with an old Stalker SHL pump.

The old galvanised spear had failed after 40 years of service.

We performed a standard rebore, installing 100mm slotted PVC casing and a new 50mm Brass Alderdice Non Return Valve (NRV).

With the rebore completed, We successfully installed the old bore pump.

Depth to water was 1.5m below the base of the well liner. We encountered Bassendean Sand: quartz sand (dunes).

Customer was up and running at a fraction of the cost to install a new submersible bore.

We successfully completed reboring the old bore in half a day. As a result the customer was ready to start watering the same day.
