Aquarian Drilling Perth Water Bores & Pumps are specialists in water bore and pump repairs. A new customer from lower Chittering recently installed their own 3 inch sqe Grundfos pump in an existing bore on the property they recently purchased.

The pump was installed at 89m in a 91m 4 inch bore with static water at 34m. Unfortunately they did not evaluate the condition of the bore prior to installing the pump.

We were asked to determine the problem. This is the end result of 10 mins pump running in a bore with a failed screen. Pumping sand totally destroyed the pump.

We ran a camera down the bore and found a fractured section of casing. We were able to successfully run in 90m of 80mm screen and casing, salvaging the bore and saving a hefty re drilling cost.

A new Grundfos sqe pump was installed and the property now has a useable water supply.
